Shipping Policy

Every Orchid & Plum order is hand-inspected, wrapped in tissue, and dispatched from our New York atelier.

Domestic shipping (United States)

  • Standard— complimentary on orders over $100. 3–5 business days. UPS Ground or USPS Priority.
  • Express— $25 flat. 1–2 business days. UPS 2nd Day Air.
  • Overnight— $45 flat. Next business day if ordered before 12 pm ET. UPS Next Day Air.

Orders placed Monday–Friday before 1 pm ET ship the same day. Weekend orders ship Monday.

International shipping

  • Canada— from $35 by DHL Express, 3–5 business days.
  • United Kingdom & EU— from $55 by DHL Express, 4–6 business days.
  • Asia & Pacific— from $75 by DHL Express, 5–8 business days.
  • Rest of world— calculated at checkout.

International orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are collected by the carrier on delivery and are your responsibility. We are unable to estimate these charges because they vary by country and product.

Order processing

Once you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email immediately. When the parcel ships, you’ll receive a tracking number by email. You can also track any order on our tracking page using the order number from your confirmation email.

Address accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before placing an order. We are not responsible for parcels delivered to addresses you supply incorrectly. If you notice an error, contact us within 1 hour at hello@opatelier.com— we’ll do our best to update it before the parcel ships.

Lost or damaged parcels

All parcels are insured. If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received the parcel, please:

  1. Wait 24 hours — carriers occasionally mark in-transit parcels as delivered prematurely.
  2. Check with neighbors and household members.
  3. Contact your local post office or carrier with the tracking number.
  4. If still missing after 48 hours, email us. We’ll file a claim and either re-ship or refund.

For visibly damaged parcels, photograph the packaging and contents before opening fully and email us within 48 hours.

Restricted destinations

We do not currently ship to: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or Crimea, due to U.S. sanctions law. PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses are accepted only for USPS Priority shipments.

Backorders and pre-orders

Items marked “Pre-Order” ship by the date listed on the product page. If we anticipate any delay, we’ll notify you by email and offer a refund if preferred.
